Brannan Brouse focuses on understanding how a country’s value system can become destabilized or undermined through malign influence and finance networks. Prior to joining the nonprofit and research world, Brannan served as a human intelligence collector (HUMINT) supporting the United States Army Special Operations Command (USASOC). A graduate of John Carroll and Staffordshire University, Brannan’s academic background includes degrees and honors in the philosophy of mathematics and language. His OSINT investigation into a faux Russian human rights organization, published in 2021, was one of the first public reports exposing the group and put forth conclusions that were subsequently reflected in an unsealed U.S. indictment involving the organization.
